I have a Braillenote Mpower BT, with Keysoft 7.0 for sale. It has a 32 cell braille display, and also comes with a wireless internet card.

It is in good working condition, and I have had it around 12 months, but it has hardly been used.
It comes with everything that it came with when I got it, with the wireless internet card added.

I am looking at around $8000 for it, or nearest offer.

If you are interested, pqn me or send me a private message, or, email me at carlie111@hotmail.com

Thanks

what do you have on it as in extras? 8 grand is a bit much for a used machine

no extras, but that may seem like a pretty high price for a used machine, but considering I paid almost 12 grand for it, and all I have ever used it for is basic word documents, I have dropped the price a fair amount.

Almost 12 grand? How is that. If you go to the site, you can pick one up for 6100. you can pick up a wireless card for 100.

Well, I dunno, but, I got this around 12 months ago, and it costed me between 11 and 12 grand.
I would be willing to take it down to 5, but I really dont think I need to.

Can I ask where exactly you bought a BrailleNote MPower from that charged you double the original price?
Seriously, if a reseller is ripping consumers off like that, people should know about it. Was this in the U.S. or elsewhere?

i know of no place from humanware that does that, i think this is someone trying to get more than the machine's worth.

i didn't think the wireless cards costed that much. The last time i heard they were around 80 dollars.

I am a good friend of Princess Carlie, and can say, that yes, she did pay that much for it.
she did say, though, that she would drop it to 5 grand, or maybe even lower if necessary.

then it must not have been humanware that sold it, they don't sell them for that much unless something got screwed up somewhare

It was humanware, actually.

strange, it really doesn't sound like them. unless something happened to make them increase prices out of the US, i'm confused

That's insane. You should have been able to get two of them for that price. If you did actually pay that much, you were soarly ripped off. I've seen used BN's on buy and sell lists for as little as $3000. You might have a hard ime finding someone who will pay $5000 when they can probably find it cheaper elsewhere.

Wait a minute. I think I see the confusion here. Are you talking US dollars or Australian dollars?

Break out your favorite converting utilities, kiddies! Too bad I don't have one handy... because now I'm curious to see if the conversion is really that bad between AM and AU dollars.
